About-the-painting
Painting a full nativity scene has been on my bucket list for over three decades, but the subject’s significance has always made me hesitant. The nativity is sacred and deeply personal for every Christian, and I wanted my portrayal to feel familiar, capturing the magic and spirit of Christmas that I’ve cherished since childhood. That’s why I included the Three Wise Men, even though their timing isn’t chronologically accurate—they are part of our beloved image of that night.
