Mountain Grandeur
2002
Lake Louise, in Banff National Park in southern Alberta was the inspiration for this painting. There are few things that rejuvenate our souls and clear our minds more completely than immersing ourselves in the therapeutic surroundings of nature. The mountains, in their grandeur, draw us to greater heights. They give us perspective and diminish the significance of our troubles. The cycles of life are everywhere evident. Storms come and go, seasons change and life still goes on. Amidst all of life’s turbulence there are always tranquil places we can go to find calm waters and inner stillness.
